In Memoriam: Dr Susan Waller
We are deeply saddened to honour the passing of Dr Susan Waller, a valued member of the Emirates Physiotherapy Society and a respected leader in physiotherapy and medical education.
Dr Waller served as an Assistant Professor in Medical Education at the United Arab Emirates University and was an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash Rural Health. With a PhD in Interprofessional Education, she was a passionate advocate for collaborative healthcare, mentoring, and the advancement of clinical education.
Her distinguished career spanned clinical practice, academia, and leadership across Australia and the Middle East, with a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and healthcare systems. Her dedication to interprofessional practice, rural health, and paediatric physiotherapy will be remembered by many.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.
Her legacy will continue to inspire.
